I just recently dyed the underneath side of my hair medium brown. (my hair is naturally that color, but I've been highlighting it.) It's cool and all, but I want it to be more visible from the back. All I need to do is layer the blonder hair on top so it's a bit shorter.
Any suggestions on how I can manage this without ruining anything? How do I layer my hair so you can see the dark underneath?
want a do-it-yoourself qwik fix... I don't know how long your hair is but... pull just the blonde hair straight up and take an inch off the top... drop it down and see how it looks... if its not enough do it again... this cut is called a full reverse and is easy... it is a qwik way to do a basic layering of the hair... in the 70's they did this by putting it in a ponytail and actually cuting it off 3-4 inches from the top of the head and it did what is call a shag hair cut... looked especially good withpermed or curlyhair... hope this helps and just a little trivia for you too... good luck... or go to a salon!!!How do I layer my hair so you can see the dark underneath?
the very last layer of your hair (which is at the bottom) should be longer than the hair at the top (which is the layer on top of rest of the hair).
Go to the salon..its hard to do something like your self.
