I left the top down and the frost got at the glue on both doors and the layers of leather separated. I've tried contact cement (the spray kind) and it doesn't work. What next? Thanks.The top layer of leather has come apart from the next layer down in my car. What glue should I use?
Your best bet is to take it to an upholstry shop and let them recommend the best course of repair.
Contact cement is usually the first course of action. If that didn't work, let a pro do the repair for you.
